Arthritis of the knee is something that quite a few people suffer from, and the fact is that it is a terrible joint to have pain in. It affects the quality of your life because you use your knee to do a lot of movements. Even walking can become painful, and you will find that you are discouraged from doing much activity. This is understandable, but you need to realise that there are options out there to help reduce your pain and get your quality of life back on track. I have found a site that lists 10 great knee exercises, but before I post the link I want to add something else to it. yes, it is great that you exercise the joint that is actually in pain, but you also need to realise that you should also work on your glutes. Your bottom is a very powerful muscle in your body and you will be sure to take a lot of pressure off your knee if you have stronger glutes. These exercises are not in the list that I am about to link too, but you need to add them into your program. Some easy ones that you can do are bridges, and bird dogs. These will be great initial exercies, and should be included in your list of knee arthritis exercises.
