Keeping the legs elevated  reduces  the swelling and pain while getting better results. The stretching exercise  should be done every 30 minutes and up to 5 hours. This must be repeated daily for about 3 to 6 months depending on the speed of recovery. Not doing the stretching exercise on a regular basis can result in a feeling of tightness while walking. Don’t worry about  the scar. It should fade in 3 months. Antibiotics, anti inflammatory agents, muscle relaxants and pain killers will be prescribed. Take the medications exactly as prescribed and strictly don’t mix other drugs  with them. Follow up visits to  the clinic  vary, but usually occur 2 to 14 days after operation. The exact downtime for this procedure is difficult to predict.Usually  results are seen in about  2 weeks. Normally, you can resume exercising after 6 weeks.</p>
